Responsible Gaming
Version: 1.0 | Last Updated: July 31, 2026
At Supabet, we believe that gambling should be an enjoyable and entertaining activity. We are firmly committed to promoting responsible gambling and providing our players with the tools and information they need to stay in control. This Responsible Gaming Policy applies to all players using the Services at supabet-casinos.com and should be read in conjunction with our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
If at any point you feel that gambling is no longer enjoyable or is causing harm to you or those around you, we urge you to make use of the tools and resources outlined on this page immediately.
1. Our Commitment
1.1 Responsible Gambling as a Core Value
Supabet takes its responsibility towards its players seriously. We recognise that for a small proportion of individuals, gambling can become problematic. Our approach is built on four core principles:
- Prevention: Implementing robust age verification and account controls to prevent underage gambling and detect at-risk behaviour early;
- Empowerment: Providing players with effective self-management tools to maintain full control over their gambling activity;
- Support: Signposting players to professional support services when they need help;
- Transparency: Communicating clearly and honestly about the risks associated with gambling.
1.2 Minimum Age
All players must be at least 21 years of age to register and use our Services. We apply rigorous age verification procedures at registration and throughout the player lifecycle to ensure compliance with this requirement.
2. Recognising Problem Gambling
2.1 What Is Problem Gambling?
Problem gambling (also referred to as compulsive gambling or gambling disorder) is characterised by a persistent, uncontrollable urge to gamble despite negative consequences to personal, financial, or social wellbeing. It is recognised as a behavioural disorder that can affect anyone, regardless of age, background, or experience level.
2.2 Warning Signs Checklist
You may have a gambling problem if you recognise several of the following signs in yourself:
- You spend more money on gambling than you can afford to lose, or regularly exceed your intended budget;
- You gamble to escape problems, anxiety, stress, or negative emotions such as boredom or loneliness;
- You feel a compulsive urge to keep gambling after losing, in an attempt to recover lost money ("chasing losses");
- You have tried to cut down or stop gambling on multiple occasions but have been unable to do so;
- Gambling is increasingly occupying your thoughts — planning sessions, reliving past wins or losses, or constantly thinking about the next bet;
- You have lied to family members, friends, or colleagues about the amount of time or money spent on gambling;
- Gambling has negatively impacted your relationships, employment, education, or financial stability;
- You have borrowed money, sold possessions, or engaged in other financial risk-taking behaviour to fund gambling;
- You feel restless, irritable, or anxious when you are unable to gamble;
- You continue gambling despite clear awareness that it is causing significant harm to you or your loved ones.
If you have answered yes to several of the above, we strongly encourage you to use our self-management tools and/or seek professional support.
3. Player Protection Tools
3.1 Deposit Limits
You can set a maximum deposit limit on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to control how much money you add to your Account. Deposit limits take effect immediately when set and can be reduced at any time with immediate effect. Increases to a deposit limit are subject to a mandatory cooling-off period before they take effect, to allow you time to reconsider.
3.2 Loss Limits
A loss limit restricts the maximum amount you can lose over a defined time period (daily, weekly, or monthly). Once your loss limit is reached, you will be unable to place further bets until the relevant period resets. Loss limits may be decreased immediately; increases are subject to the same cooling-off period as deposit limit increases.
3.3 Session Time Limits
You may set a session time limit to cap the duration of individual gaming sessions. Once the limit is reached, you will be automatically logged out of your Account. The system will also display a visible clock or session timer during gameplay so you remain aware of how long you have been playing.
3.4 Reality Checks
We can enable reality check reminders that alert you at regular intervals during gameplay — for example, every 30 or 60 minutes — displaying the duration of your session and the net outcome of your play. These prompts encourage reflection and allow you to make informed decisions about continuing or stopping.
3.5 Cooling-Off Period
A cooling-off period allows you to temporarily suspend your Account for a short, defined period — such as 24 hours, 48 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. During this period, you will not be able to log in, deposit, or place bets. You may not access the Account or cancel the cooling-off period before it expires. All pending withdrawals will continue to be processed.
3.6 Self-Exclusion
If you feel that you need a more significant break from gambling, you can request a self-exclusion. Self-exclusion can be activated for a minimum period of 6 months and may be set to a longer duration, including indefinite exclusion. During self-exclusion:
- Your Account will be suspended and access blocked;
- You will be removed from all marketing communications;
- Any active bonuses will be cancelled;
- Your real-money balance will be available for withdrawal.
To reactivate your Account after the self-exclusion period has expired, you must contact our support team and undergo a mandatory reflection period before reinstatement. To request self-exclusion, contact us at [email protected].
3.7 How to Activate Tools
All player protection tools can be activated by:
- Visiting the Responsible Gaming section within your Account settings; or
- Contacting our customer support team directly at [email protected].
All limit-setting requests are processed promptly. Protective measures (limits and exclusions) are always applied immediately.
4. Tips for Responsible Gambling
4.1 Healthy Gambling Habits
We recommend that all players keep the following principles in mind at all times:
- Set a budget before you play and stick to it. Never gamble with money you cannot afford to lose — treat your gambling budget as a leisure expense, not an investment;
- Set a time limit before each session and stop when you reach it, regardless of whether you are winning or losing;
- Never chase losses. If you have reached your budget limit, stop playing. Attempting to recover losses rarely results in a positive outcome and typically leads to further losses;
- Gambling should be entertainment, not a way to make money. Games of chance are designed with a house edge; the outcome of each game is random and independent of previous results;
- Take regular breaks. Step away from the screen regularly and avoid long, uninterrupted gaming sessions;
- Do not gamble when you are stressed, upset, intoxicated, or emotionally compromised. These states can impair your judgement and lead to poor decision-making;
- Balance gambling with other leisure activities. Gambling should not be your sole or primary hobby or source of entertainment;
- Keep track of your gambling history. Review your account transaction history regularly to maintain an accurate picture of your gambling spend.
5. Protection of Minors
5.1 Age Verification
We operate a strict 21+ policy. Every player is required to verify their age during the registration process and may be asked to provide additional documentation at any time. We do not permit access to the Website or its Services to any person under the age of 21. Any Account found to belong to a minor will be immediately closed and any funds voided or returned as appropriate.
5.2 Keeping Gambling Away from Minors
If you share a device or computer with minors or young adults, we strongly recommend the following precautions:
- Never save your Account login credentials in a shared browser;
- Always log out of your Account after each session;
- Install parental control or content filtering software on shared devices (e.g., Net Nanny, Qustodio, or the Greek government's Kids Wallet application);
- Keep your payment card and financial details secure and out of reach of young persons;
- Have open conversations with children and young people about the risks associated with gambling.
5.3 Reporting Underage Gambling
If you suspect that a minor is accessing gambling services through our platform, please report this to us immediately at [email protected]. We take all such reports seriously and will investigate without delay.
